As you know from the trade press and from your own experience, we have been confronted with a dramatic price development for raw materials for some time and the supply situation is also extremely tense. In the course of the pandemic-related effects on the globalizing markets, we have been confronted with increased demand for various raw materials and the resulting strong price increases and longer delivery times.
In many cases, the availability of goods currently is primary to the actual price. This has corresponding effects. We are forced to react to this extraordinary situation. Please understand that we too have to adjust the prices to the current situation and have to increase them by 5% in the area of control components and by 8% in the areas of accessories and steel construction.
