Lithium recycling plant in Portugal

SOMETHING BIG IS HAPPENING HERE!

Over the past few months, our ERDWICH assembly team in Portugal has done an excellent job and has already assembled and installed all plant components.

This is a lithium-ion pilot plant for the mechanical processing of LIB modules, packs, and cells.
The entire plant has been designed by the customer for a planned throughput capacity of 500 kg/h.

Of course, higher throughput rates can also be achieved here depending on customer requirements.

To ensure gentle material breakdown of the material flows, the proven ERDWICH RM1350/2-1500 shredder with 2 x 55 kW drive power and a 1,500 mm cutting length is used here.

The special blade geometry and flexible plug sequence allow the materials to be collected and gently broken down.
The pre-shredded material flows are then further processed using an ERDWICH HA800/1-1000 hammer mill with an integrated perforated screen.
Further separation steps follow the vacuum drying units in the form of air separation, FE separation, and NE separation, as well as intermediate screening and separation tables for screening the resulting black mass.

Once again, there are no limits to ERDWICH machines and systems. SHREDDING UNLIMITED!
